Happy Anniversary 31 Years of Twinning! Port Shepstone Twinning Association
Happy Anniversary 31 Years of Twinning! Port Shepstone Twinning Association Celebrating 31 years of Port Shepstone Twinning , a legacy of international and local programmes addressing community needs, supporting schools and heritage initiatives, and sustaining ongoing international exchange programmes. As we reflect, we can hardly believe it has been 31 years of continuous voluntary work, driven by dedication, friendship, and a shared vision for community development, addressing community needs following democracy. On 9 November 1994, few could have imagined that a modest inauguration at St Martin de Porres School would evolve into a fully fledged NGO, one that continues to thrive three decades later. Over the years, a strong bond has been built through partnerships with local NGOs, international programmes, and numerous community initiatives that have uplifted and empowered many professionals and local community members. What is more significant is the contribution to Social Cohesion. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the visionaries, our dedicated Board members, our membership, friends in Sweden, and our local community. We especially acknowledge the many dedicated individuals in both Sweden and South Africa who have given their time and energy voluntarily, as well as the countless supporters who have kept this partnership strong and alive. The future now rests in the hands of emerging leaders to carry this legacy forward collectively with renewed energy, unity, and purpose. Happy 31 years..
